Using Muun Wallet

Easily Send and Receive Bitcoin Using Your Phone

  1. Install Muun Wallet on Android or iPhone.
  2. Run Muun and create a login PIN code.
    a. Do not forget your PIN. It cannot be reset.
  3. Follow the steps to backup your wallet.
    a. Write down this info on a piece of paper and store it somewhere secure. You will need it to recover your bitcoin if your phone is lost or stolen.
  4. Click the Receive button to receive bitcoin.
  5. Click the Send button to send bitcoin.

NOTE: when you pay or receive via lightning on muun they do an onchain swap, so you pay onchain fees, when onchain fees are low it is a decent tradeoff, when fees rise it wont be - to save on fees when using lightning consider using phoenix wallet which is a native lightning wallet
